JULY 2006
From our Board Chairman Gary Human (2006): "Sister Kaluwa has received high praise from her insitution for her good results in her social work/care giver vocational training. Her training in the field of social work, specializing in HIV AIDS, is critically important to the community. Persons with such specialized social worker background... are the best solutions to the AIDS problem that threatens to derail South Africa's economy and political stability."

JUNE 2004
Zoliswa Qoza: "Your generosity has been an answer to my prayers and I have no doubt in my heart that if you ask with a sincere heart it shall be given unto you. I am studying Security Management and I will be finishing this November, afterwards I will be looking for employment and chances for me to be employed are high and in five years time I will be a shareholder or managing my own security company." (Zoliswa's home is amoung the shacks, no electricity or water. She got a job at the World Cup Cricket Matches which were held in South Africa.)
Sinah Seti: "I am a 25 year old woman. I come from a big family, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to further my studies. But because of faith in 2002 you made my dreams come true. I am a first year student at Technikon South Africa doing Transport Economics. My dream is to become a Economist in a big transport industry in South africa. I enjoy it very much but need an effort to succeed. If you were not there for me I would not be in this position. Thanks a lot of the good heart."

Unathi Mini: "I choose to do a Debtor/Creditors Controllers Diploma with the Academy of Learning as it is internationally accredited and so far I have been doing good. When I heard about the Brockbank Fund I was stunned that someone who does not even know us, could put all her faith in us and allow is to make something of ourselves. The only thing left for me to do is not to let you down. I hope the legacy of the Brockbank will live on for generations to come."
Nolubabalo Gwangqa: "You made a huge difference in my life. After my grandmother died I never had hope in my life, she was the only person I had faith in. I had a bad life with my family whereby I have to live on the street for four years. There were times I was hungry and lonely but I knew all I have to do is to endure with faith in the Lord. Now I am doing 2nd year in Public Relations. You made me a human being with something that I can have in life. The candle that you brought will always shine in my life."
Dec. 2003
Nomingaye Mbi: "You don't know how much this means to me. I've been waiting for this oportunity for many years. I will be doing electrical engineering at Technicon SA. Please send my love to everyone." (Nomingaye had not been able to finish secondary school because her father died. She was 27 years old and working as a domestic when we met her.)
